Shot Thru the Heart!

If you donut get to Psycho Donuts to try one, you're to blame! This heart-shaped donut is pierced through the heart with an evil chocolate pocky stick. The heart is oozing with raspberry jelly, and blood-red drizzle leaks ominously from the pocky-inflicted wound. Think of it as the Headbanger for the loveless.

Everyone remembers those sweethearts candies. You remember... the heart-shaped candies with the cute and lovable slogans. Chef Ron decided to donutize sweetheart candies; only with slight twist (as if making a donut version of Sweethearts wasn't already pretty twisted).

Give it to someone you really don't like on Valentine's Day (or someone you love with a sense of humor?). Not-So-Sweethearts come with memorable slogans like "I H8 U," "DOOSH," and other poetic anomalies, helping you to express your real feelings this Valentine's Day!

Farewell Furry Flurry

Farewell to the fanatical flurry of furry fandom (say that 10 times!). Psycho Donuts San Jose was a lightning rod for our new furry friends who came to this year's Further Confusion Conference! Wolves, tigers, tails, and crazy creatures with wing spans of 10 feet long all walked the Psycho plank and enjoyed some tasty Psycho morsels.

What drove the furries into Psycho Donuts was Animal Parts! Furries exercised cannibalistic tendencies, with a voracious appetite for Tails and even Ballz. Tigers and zebras were running scared, as the Psycho kitchen scrambled to harvest an ample supply of ballz to satisfy furry demand.

And that wasn't all! Psycho Donuts was invited to judge the Furry Talent Show on the last night of the conference.

Nurses Micaela and Siobhan exercised their judicial skills masterfully, making critical furry talent decisions. Psycho was honored to be among the esteemed panel of judges for the event.

Psycho looks forward to another crazy furry conference next year!

And speaking of strange events and themed balls, anyone catch the Michael Jackson Immortal show at The HP Pavilion this past weekend? Psycho Donuts was prepared with extra helping of MJ Ballz for all concert goers. What better way to supplement your Michael Jackson tribute concert!

Donutize This! Furries, Elvis, and The King of Pop

It's a Crazy New Year at Psycho Donuts, and we are gearing up for another year of insane donutrocities. The Psycho Facebook Fan page crossed the 10,000 Likes, just as the New Years ball dropped in New York. Facebook fan Joe Casteneda claims he was Psycho Fan 10,000, but other Psycho fans expressed outrage, accusing Joe of a "Floridian George Bush-like move." The public may never know the truth.

CBS Channel 5's Eye on the Bay has been practically living at

Psycho Donuts. Producer Chris Bolini recently put together this inventive segment about Psycho Donuts. And toon in to KCBS Channel 5, Thursday January 12 at 7pm; when a completely different segment about Psycho Donuts will make it's Eye on the Bay TV debut.

Here come The Furries! The annual Furry convention, Furrther Confusion, returns to Downtown San Jose, starting on Thursday January 12. Furries and Psychos are a match made in purgatory; and for this reason, we have created some Psycho Pspecialties in honor of our Pfurry Pfriends.

Starting on Wednesday, January 11, stop at Psycho Donuts and check out our Zebra Parts. We'll be serving up both Zebra Tails and Zebra Ballz. Zebras not your thing? Then try our Tiger Parts, in your choice of Tiger Tails or Tiger Ballz. Topped with orange icing and chocolate stripes, Tiger Tails (and Ballz!) will bring out the feline in furries and non-furries alike. Psycho Donuts is also thrilled to be judging the notorious Furry Talent Show, for a second year in a row.

And speaking of felines, did you make it to Psycho San Jose for our CATS Nurse Transformation event? Make-up guru Jimmy Goode and cast members of the musical CATS were on hand, quickly transforming our own Siobhan into a CAT Nurse. Rumor has it that Siobhan will now be starring in a remake of the movie Catwoman. Psycho thanks to KGO Radio reporter Rob Artigo for covering the event, and to our friends at Broadway San Jose for the crazy concept.

Hopefully you had the chance to taste our Kitty Litter donut while CATS was in town. If you were too scared this time around, it's likely that the Kitty will "rear" it's ugly head again in 2012.

In crazy celebrity news, Elvis will celebrate another birthday this Sunday, January 8. Are you the real Elvis? New Years Resolution: I refuse to work at another lame restaurant or coffee shop in 2012. I endeavor to find a crazy work experience, at a high-energy company - which thinks and operates in ironic and unconventional ways. I want to really know the people I work for, without complex layers of hierarchy. I don't want to ultimately report into some Corporate Headquarters in Timbuktu. I want to work where my ideas can be be taken seriously by the CEO, and where my suggestions can often be put into action... like next week. But more than anything, I want a chance to succeed and show the world that I can make a difference. And when I prove this, I want a job that will recognize my work and give me the chance to grow.

Is this the kind of resolution you've thought about writing for 2012? Do you really, really care about where you work, and how your own personal mark is evident, and recognized, when you come to work?

The holidaze are now fully unleashed at Psycho Donuts! Check out some of the latest donutrocities that Chef Ron has unleashed upon the world.

Grandma's Revenge. Grandma got herself a shotgun, and the reindeer are leaving her alone this year. It's time to find a new campy Christmas song, because Grandma will NOT get run over by any more reindeer!

Psycho Psufganiyot. For those rocking the Hanukah bush, come get our Psycho Psufganiyot. Is it Kosher? Is the Pope Jewish? Still and all, it's a great traditional Psufganiyot, if you're able to overlook the Silent P (we can't help ourselves).

Jingle Ballz. You've seen our other varieties of Psycho Ballz. But these are the happiest balls on the planet. They come in shades of red and green, filled with custard, and topped with fresh snow.

Psycho Wreath. For our vegan friends, this green crueller looks worthy of mounting on your front door, if it weren't for your neighbors coming to take a bite out of it.

Reindeer Droppings. Filled with mint chocolate, and topped with the best kind of reindeer droppings - chocolate covered raisins!

Psycho Tree. Admittedly less crazy than Reindeer Droppings, the Psycho Tree is a triangular raised donut, iced in green, with Mini M&M's and a vanilla drizzle. You can even bring this one to your grandparents without offending!

Psycho Donuts challenged its fans to create a video based on the original Ding Fries are Done YouTube video. Admittedly, Ms. Garcia put together more of a song than a video, but catchy nonetheless. Wait for the scream... She is the proud winner of a Psycho Pseasonal Donut Pizza. 14 inches of pure Christmas Psycho insanity! Let's hope she uploads some photos.

Congrats are also in order for Psycho Facebook fan, Kishna Woo-Hare, who was the first to answer the CATS trivia question, earning two tickets to see CATS at Broadway San Jose.

CATS Nurses and Kitty Litter Donuts

Just because we revel in a name like Psycho Donuts, does it give us creative license to donutize literally anything? When we met with the fine and innocent people at Broadway San Jose, we learned about the coming performances of CATS. And let us just say, we were intrigued - one might even say, in an evil way.

Psycho Donuts meets Broadway San Jose. Sorta like Godzilla meets Bambi? The Odd Couple? The conversation went like this... "Hey, how about if we create some CATS-inspired donuts in honor of this great show coming to San Jose?" And they said, "How about if we send a make-up artist to turn your nurses into cats?" And so it is that we describe the latter before the former.

Come watch as CATS make-up artist, Jimmy Goode, transforms Psycho Nurse Siobhan (pictured stage right as a zombie reindeer - she's just so versatile...) into the world's first CATS Nurse. Tamera Palmer of NBC Bay Area said, "South Bay provocateur Psycho Donuts, known for bending the codes of human decency... (editorial note, Really Tamera?!) will celebrate Broadway San Jose's forthcoming production of CATS with limited specials including a kitty litter donut." How right she is. Butt, a Kitty Litter Donut?

What, is there something inherently wrong with a Kitty Litter Donut? Pictures are coming soon to a Psycho Facebook Fan page near you. Psycho Kitty Litter is a yeast-raised donut, iced in vanilla, and filled with Fancy Feast pastry cream (…ok, its custard, but we strongly encourage the use of your imagination). It's then topped with kitty litter cake donut crumb topping, complete with simulated green Fresh Step odor-fighting crystals. What are those other morsels on top? It looks like the kitty has been to the box and left you some little chocolate icing flavor nuggets. Psycho Kitty Litter will be served to customers at Psycho San Jose from a proper (albeit new and sanitized) kitty litter box. Do keep in mind that Psycho Donuts is monitored by the Department of Environmental Health. So imagination aside, this is a very palatable and tasty donut. You just gotta get past the imagination part.

San Jose, CA. (December 28, 2011) - Celebrating the opening of CATS, Broadway San Jose and Psycho Donuts have teamed up to create two signature “CATS” donuts! Ding Fries are Back - A Psycho Contest

Psycho fans have been demanding the return of Donut Fries. Psycho Donut Fries were a Completely Crazed Concept - donuts in a french fry form factor... served with ketchup (er, jelly), or mayo (er, custard).

What became of Donut Fries? Did they go to the Great Psycho Graveyard? Fear not, Psycho friends! While the concept of donut fries was killer, they did not meet our ever-psychotic requirements for taste and quality. So Chef Ron went back to the Psycho drawing board to re-imagine the future of the Donut Fry. We are giddy to announce that Donut Fries 2.0 are now in beta, with a planned launch around the New Year. Make a resolution to come try them!

DING FRIES ARE BACK - A PSYCHOTIC VIDEO CONTEST

Who remembers the viral YouTube video, Ding Fries are Done? This video was so cool that even Peter sang it on Family Guy. Your Psycho challenge if you choose to accept it: Create a Ding Fries Are Done parody (Ding Fries Are Back? Or whatever you wanna call it), to help us welcome Donut Fries' return to the Psycho asylum!

Grandma's Revenge is an annual favorite, since everyone loves an

injured reindeer donut! IKR? We might've called it Reindeer Head Trauma, but for the prospect of reindeer support group protests... Grandma's Revenge is the de facto Holiday Headbanger. Filled with jelly through a gaping forehead entry wound, this reindeer has seen better days. Antlers are fashioned from sawed-off chocolate pocky sticks, and his morbid chocolate facial features sit atop a bed of white icing. One thing's for sure - Grandma will not get run over by any rogue reindeer this Psycho Pseason!

If Chana Claus comes down your chimney, we've got just the thing. Psycho Psufganiyot (Silent P-suf-gun-ee-yot). This traditional Chanukah bad boy is a raised donut, filled with strawberry jelly and subjected to a Pserious Psugar Pshower. Order 'em by the dozen online, and skip the line at pick-up!

Psycho Donuts is pontificating the perfect pilgrimage of insanity. Captain John Smith would have approved of the crazy donuts we'll be unleashing over the next couple of weeks.

The Drunkin' Punkin' is a Chef Ron masterpiece; his own Plymouth Rock. We start with a bourbon-spiked pumpkin cake donut. Seriously. We top it with cheesecake icing, fresh pecans, and a cross-hatch of maple and caramel drizzle. If the pilgrims knew of this donutrocity, they may have landed in Santa Cruz rather than Plymouth Rock.

Bourbon donuts a little much for ya? Check out the Punkin' Spice Latte. This pilgrim is filled with spiced pumpkin, and topped with coffee and cinnamon icing.

Maybe your real Thanksgiving headliner is our Psweet PotatOnut. This crazed concoction is a raised donut topped with torched marshmallows, graham crackers, and a pumpkin spice filling.

Ready for dessert? How about some Punkin' Pie? Our Punkin' Pie Donut has pumpkin filling, and a topping of maple icing and crushed graham crackers.

Halloween was outta control crazy at Psycho Donuts this year! Zombie nurses attacked human nurses, scary dolls prevailed, and Psycho Donuts appeared on The Travel Channel.

Customers swarmed Psycho Donuts to the point of utter kitchen meltdown. Chef Ron had to sedate several of the kooks in the kitchen.

Psycho Donuts Offers New Menu Item with PsychoPop! Art Exhibition

Opening Event Features High Energy, Colorful Prints Inspired by Pop & Street Art

Campbell, CA - June 27, 2011 - Psycho Donuts will fill not only it’s cases with delectable treats this summer, but offer a feast for the eyes with the three art shows, beginning Friday, July 1 with Psycho Pop. This show, brought together by artist and curator Wallace Harper, brings a range of energized, colorful and high-impact silkscreen prints inspired by pop, “low-brow” street imagery, rock & roll posters, and outsider art.

“I wanted to have the works of art to match and expand on the

The press has been crazy for Psycho Donuts in the past week. Will there be a Psycho Reality Show? With creations like our first Donut Wedding Cake, anything is possible! This donut cake, stage left, is a 4-tiered monster created for an adventurous couple - for their recent wedding in Monterey. It's 4-tiers of donut delirium, with a variety of cake donuts and fillings - all based on the crazy couple's deepest donut desires. Psycho was forced to spread its birdlike wings to pull it off - and now, we're poised for anything and everything... and so... we say to The Food Network, The Cooking Channel, and TLC - BRING IT ON! People ask about the premise behind a Psycho Reality Show. We got the world's craziest donuts, donut pizzas, donut tacos, donut burgers, donut fries, and donut cakes. Does Ace of Cakes have beautiful cake nurses? Does Cake Boss place customers in a padded cell? Did Donald Trump ever stand a chance?

Crazy donuts for your crazy dad! Get your dad one of our insane Father's Day pspecials from Psycho Donuts this weekend.

Our psycho research department has concluded that dads want game food on Father's Day in the form of 4 food groups: Beer, nuts, pretzels, chocolate. It doesn't take much to make dads happy. And Psycho has swooped in to help!

Beer Nuts covers three of the four dad food groups. It's a raised donut, filled with beer (ummmm, beer...). OK, not just beer. It's a Rogue Mocha Porter pastry creme with malt extract, to be exact. To complete this dysfunctional dad delectable, we top it with chocolate icing, beer nuts, and a multi-flavor drizzle beer mug on top.

We almost stopped there, but realized we hadn't covered the pretzel food group. So we invented the Dulce de Psycho. This dyslexic donut is filled with a caramel and dulce de leche pastry creme. It's topped off with chocolate icing, pretzels, and chocolate drizzle.

Psycho has seen its share of press attention, for an amazing array of reasons. We've been covered by almost every local news and morning show in the Bay Area, and even in national press. But in Sacramento? Not so much. So we were both surprised and excited when Julissa Ortiz of CW31's Good Day Sacramento inquired about filming LIVE at Psycho Donuts Campbell. It's official. FanimeCon is the craziest convention on the planet. Which is probably why Psycho San Jose was the site of a mass Fanime Pilgrimage. Thousands of fun, costumed attendees descended upon Psycho Donuts last weekend to sample our Psycho Psushi. We made enough for about 500, but we didn't anticipate 5,000! Needless to say, the Psycho kitchen went insane trying to satiate the endless Psycho Psushi hysteria. Psycho apologies to those of you who didn't get any Psushi. We will be ready for you next year!

Crazy thanks to our new friends at Bay Area NBC affiliate, KNTV 11. Psycho Donuts was psyched to be featured on Today in the Bay, with hosts Laura Cannon-Garcia and Brent Cannon. Filming took place at The Winchester Mystery House on Friday the 13th, and the KNTV team was among the first to taste our Friday the 13th-inspired donut creation - The JasoNut.

Psycho love also goes out to local comedian and 106.5FM DJ, Sandy Stec. Sandy's latest comedic rant revolves around a burning desire to Get The F&*% Outta Milpitas. Along the way, Sandy asked us to create a a donut that exudes Milpitas... and the fun began. Here's a video behind the creation of our Milpitas-inspired donut, "Miso Honey." This donut is not yet available at Psycho Donuts - not until Sandy succeeds in her Milpitas escape!

Psycho Donuts Owners Face New Controversy Over Their Balls

A new line of donuts announced by Psycho Donuts has outraged some in this quiet bedroom community in Campbell, California. Psycho Donuts owners shrugged off the latest controversy surrounding their 2 year old business.

CAMPBELL, CA March 29, 2011 --- Psycho Donuts is stirring up controversy again. The cult donut chain announced a new line of themed donut holes, dubbed Psycho Ballz. The company will release four varieties on April 1 - including Piggy Ballz, Zombie Ballz, Wookie Ballz, and Chocolate Salty Ballz.

Many in this Northern California community were outraged by the company’s apparent lack of morality and judgment surrounding their new line of donut holes. Several members of the community, along with industry groups such as Pig Farmers of America, Equal Rights for Zombies, and The Boston Teabaggers are protesting the controversial line-up of fried dough. The opposition has banded together to form The Alliance Against Testicular Humor (AATH), in direct response to the company’s product announcement. The AATH has publicly demanded that Psycho Donuts founders retract their ballz immediately.

Psycho Donuts is no stranger to controversy. In 2009, Psycho Donuts angered mental heath groups when the business first launched as an asylum-themed donut shop. More recently, the company shocked the public with the introduction of Blue Balls – blue sugar-coated donut holes filled with custard – which were made available to single men on Valentine’s Day.

Web Granger, Psycho Donuts’ Professor of Hysterical Donuts, said, “Each Psycho Ballz variety builds on its name, and each variety comes in a similar round shape. Piggy Ballz are cake donut holes, dipped in maple glaze, and rolled in crispy bacon bits. Chocolate Salty Ballz are glazed dark chocolate cake donuts, drizzled with rich and buttery salted caramel.” Psycho Donuts owners describe Psycho Ballz as literally-named culinary innovations, but not everyone agrees.

Joe Bob Dangles, a pig farmer in nearby Modesto, expressed outrage regarding Psycho Donuts’ Piggy Ballz: “Pigs may be dirty, but they are innocent creatures; and while people eat almost every part of a pig’s body, their genitals should be held sacred from donut ridicule.” Susan Doright, from the California Association of Moral Values, said, “What kind of people would create such a thing? Companies like Psycho Donuts are damaging the fabric of America’s value system. The owners of Psycho Donuts lack a moral screw in their DNA.”

When questioned about the new line of donuts, Chief Psycho Jordan Zweigoron commented, “We are proud of our ballz, and we stand behind them. It’s not every day that a man has the opportunity to create a legacy around his ballz; and we intend to make our ballz the folklore of generations to come.”

Psycho Ballz will be available at Psycho Donuts Campbell and Psycho Donuts San Jose, beginning on Friday, April 1, 2011.

Psycho Chef Ron is on pfire (hmm, can we do a silent "p" before an "f" too?). We launched the Strawberry Margarita Donut this weekend. Donut miss this one. It's filled with tequilla creme, and topped with strawberry icing, freeze dried strawberries, a swirl of vanilla icing, and coarse margarita salt. This one's a game changer. And you can still get one through Valentine's Day!

This weekend also saw the return of Blue Balls! You've been frustrated and waiting impatiently since last Valentine's Day - but they've returned in their full and bursting, psmurfish glory. It's not easy being a Psycho Nurse in San Jose during October. Not only do you have to serve crazy donuts, make killer coffee drinks and serve beer and wine, you also need to add Psycho flair to your nursely image. Erika came as 'Nurse Chaplain' (which was mistaken by some to be Nurse Adolph).

And speaking of cool things at Psycho San Jose, this week's Cult Movie: The Man Who Fell To Earth. What an amazing movie, featuring David Bowie in his first starring film role. Based on the amazing sci-fi book by Walter Tevis, the movie was absolutely true to the book. Chief Psycho highly recommends this film. Check it out Thursday night, October 14 at 9pm at Psycho San Jose and Camera 3.

Lots of great things happening at the Psycho Mother Ship (PMS?) in Campbell too. Nurses Dylan and Fionna recently competed and won Best Zombie in The Zombie Crawl. If Nurse Dylan didn't shock you with her recent Lady Gaga antics, her putrified eye should upset you plenty.

Psycho San Jose is on fire - figuratively speaking, that is! Check out Cult Movie Thursdays! This Thursday, Sept 23, join us for Brazil at 9pm. This cult classic is Chief Psycho's favorite movie of all time - which probably won't surprise anyone! As if that weren't enough to attract you to our newest store in downtown San Jose, check out Spike and Mike's Animation Festival - taking place all weekend, beginning on Thursday night. Psycho San Jose continues its relentless pursuit to transform 2nd and San Carlos into the most unique corner in Downtown San Jose. With the help of Heather Sibley and Jere Avila of Avila Studios, Psycho San Jose is becoming an amazing work of art. We'll post some photos when the final masterpiece is completed shortly!

Recent Psycho press activity has been pspectacular! That good thing is our S'mores Donut. Yes, the same S'mores donut listed in Maxim Magazine's Top 10 Donuts in the Country. Why would we do such a thing? Look out, Psycho Donuts is about to go Gaga! The Alejandro singer will be stopping in San Jose on August 16th and 17th as part of her Monster Ball Tour, and the Psychos are ready to celebrate! In fact, the team in our Krazy Kitchen has come up with a few delicious Gaga-inspired treats, which will be available from August 13 - 18.

We're thrilled about our new Pspecial of the Week. It's not everyday you get to create a donut themed around a IKF AMATEUR MUAY THAI BANTAMWEIGHT WORLD CHAMPION. In fact, it's probably never happened. A few months ago, a pretty, soft-spoken girl named Jenna Castillo stumbled into Psycho Donuts. Upon first meeting Jenna, you might never guess such a well-mannered girl could be California's Champion Muay Thai Kickboxing queen. We learned that Jenna is so jacked up about donuts, friends call her "Jenna Donuts." And this was the start of an amazing friendship.

It was only natural for us to create a donut in Jenna's image. And so it is that we bring you this week's Pspecial - Jenna's Passion. This may be the one and only time you can have Jenna's foot in your face without an ensuing hospital visit. Jenna's Passion is a foot-shaped donut filled with our Belgian White Chocolate and Passion Fruit Cream and topped with Strawberry Icing and Jenna's fave - sprinkles.

Altoids are amazing. Did you ever wonder how they pack so much flavor into such a tiny white package? And now, they're not just for eating out of a tin anymore. Check out our new Donut Pspecial for the week of July 19 - Curiously Strange. This raised donut is topped with vanilla icing, coarsely chopped bits of peppermint Altoids, chocolate chips, and a chocolate drizzle. We really weren't so sure that Altoids would really work on a donut; so we conducted some taste tests on guinea pigs, er, customers, this weekend. The concensus is that Curiously Strange creates a serious Christmas peppermint sensation in your mouth. Give it a try - this week only.

Happy 100th Birthday Pfrida!

July 6 is Frida Kahlo's 100th birthday, and we wanted to create a donut in her image. Designing donuts is not always easy. It's not like a wax museum or an ice carving, where you can create serious lifelike replications. You might throw some dough in the fryer with good intentions, but rarely does it come out looking like Frida Kahlo. So sometimes you have to focus on distinguishing
characteristics... And with that introduction, we're happy to announce this week's Donut creation: Pfrida's Passion. This raised donut doesn't compete with Frida's artistic talent; but like Frida, it's filled with passion, er, passionfruit. It has a strawberry icing, and a dark chocolate unibrow. Enough said...!

In our Vegan department, we're featuring the Berry Pucker this week. It's a vegan cake donut, topped with crushed freeze dried strawberries and keylime juice.

A chilling announcement from the Psycho research laboratory. After several minutes of human trials, our Psycho Pscientists are proud to bring you Stone Cold Psychos. The ultimate pfusion dessert is ready to greet your taste budz! Stone Cold Psychos are donuts and ice cream (or as we like to say, Iscream), bonded together in unholy matrimony.

Making Stone Cold Psychos is a crazy, complex process. First, we hack a Psycho in half (donut, that is), surgically implant Iscream, stitch the wounded soldier back together, and freeze. Repeat. Complicated, right?

Stone Cold Psychos. Coming to a Psycho Donuts near you (or at least one in Campbell, California), starting 4th of July weekend.

Explosion Rocks the Psycho Kitchen. Anyone got a Containment Cap?!

An explosion rocked the Psycho kitchen early Sunday morning. Admittedly, our kooks were cutting corners and an explosion ruptured our donut fryer - resulting in an oil leak (trans-fat free palm oil) that cannot be contained. This monumental psycho disaster has resulted in our new Current Event Donut of the Week called Chocolate in the Gulf.

This donut is a gusher. Chocolate oil is leaking from a ruptured pipe, constructed of Oreo FunStix. Donutologists estimate the donut is spewing a Willy Wonka river of chocolate each day. The leaking chocolate is mixing with an ocean of glaze, congealing into a gooey mass of oreo dust which threatens to overwhelm the vast surface of the entire donut. Many attempts have been made to quell the flow of chocolate. Web Granger, PhD (Professor, Hysterical Donuts) said, "We've tried everything. We've stuffed Cocoa Puffs and M & M's down the FunStix pipe, but nothing will stop the impossible flow of chocolate. The only way to stop this leak is through consumption."

Psycho Donuts has conducted an extensive research experiment, and we've discovered the definitive list of what crazy dads want this Father's Day:

CRAZY DADS LIKE BEER. But what's that got to do with donuts? Only everything! Let's begin with the BeerNutz Donut. This might be the first beer-filled donut ever! We start with a Rogue Mocha Porter - combined with milk chocolate and dark malt extract - to create our Psycho porter mocha pastry cream filling. We then top this Father's Day oddity with chocolate, Beer Nuts, and a beer mug drizzle.

CRAZY DADS LIKE BASEBALL. And for this reason, we'll be making plenty of Suicide Squeeze donuts. These chocolate-filled baseball donuts are topped with a range of pulverized toppings, from Oreos and Whoppers, to Butterfinger candy bar and more.

Last week, we conducted a PEE (Psycho Economics Experiment), which we dubbed "The Econ 101." We were curious to know at what price a donut pizza would sell for; if it started its doughy life luxuriously expensive in the morning, but became wildly more affordable by the hour. The Econ 101 sold quickly in the second hour for $28 - above market value. It was such a fun experiment, that we've decided to make The Econ 101 a permanent weekday ordeal. Every weekday, we'll make one Donut Pizza. It will start at $30, and decrease by $2 per hour. If you want it, come early and flex your elasticity of demand. Peter Shepherd Wins, Razveganpucker, and Donut Economics

A ginormous congratulations to Peter Shepherd - winner of the First Annual Psycho Donut Pizza Eating Competition! Peter finished a 2.5lb Donut Pizza, establishing a record time of 7 minutes and 20 seconds. Christina was a verrrry close runner-up. Thanks also to our other contestants - Bernd, Ramon, and Brett. We'd like to thank Jeff Kramer of ComedySportz for adding an improvisational narrative and a couple of Comedy Sportz tickets; and to Psycho artist Simon Salas - for donating a signed print to the winner.

Calling all aspiring donut economists! We want your prediction on a donut economics puzzle... This Wednesday we'll make one (and only one) 14" Donut Pizza; Its fried life shall commence at 6am - at a premium price of $30 (they normally sell for $25, but you can't usually just walk in and buy one). You may have noticed that this is not a bargain. However, the rule of scarcity applies. For each hour the Donut Pizza remains unsold, the price will decrease by $2. If the donut pizza sells at lunchtime, it will sell for $18; and if it sells in our last hour of the evening, a bargain at $2. Here's the question - how much will the Donut Pizza sell for?
